Canon (indicate anime, manga, game version if there are distinctions): Darker than BLACK, ANIME VERSION. The manga does not exist what are you talking about.

Setting of Origin (country, year, planet name, descriptive, flowery language goes here if unknown specifically, approximate to our time): Tokyo, Japan, present-day or possibly just a few years into the future.

Typical Style of dress (pics are awesome): As Li (...except he usually wears shoes lul) and as Hei or BK201.

Anything for aura readers/reiatsu users/sixth sense folks to pick up: Possibly contractor powers, since that sort of goes into the psychic powers category in a weird way.

Jusenkyo (spring) curse?: None as of yet.

Other typical status changes, island-borne or canon: Nope.

What will incite emo?: Talk about his sister (though he's never going to bring this up), maybe talk about contractors having no heart, being unable to dream, etc etc depending on the situation at hand and who he's talking with.

…Rage?: Talking about his sister with Amber >O, Amber in general, people who hurt his nakama. ): Otherwise, won't RAEG at you a lot but instead just turn somewhat drywall.

… NO U response?: Saying that he'll be fat by thirty. People on the island who won't mind their own business ~~YES THAT MEANS YOU, SAITOU.~~

How do they see the Island, in a symbolic, metaphorical sense: Just as a place he's stuck on, basically. Here he's disconnected from the Syndicate, and as of now he's not sure what to think about that.

I know this is epic late, but I haven't done it with any of my characters and I think I should? That and I'm bored lulz.

Itzhak's "poem" at the end of episode 14:

Maiden, black night, mourning in sadness,
falling into the night alone.
The moon that accompanies her radiates of silver
as the night of atonement quietly passes by.

It didn't really hit me until I watched it again, but I find it interesting how Hei's name literally means "black" and Yin's means "silver". I think it's neat for the series to incorporate these kinds of things in the episodes for silly people like me to catch and read into it too much. "Night of atonement" HRRRRM.

So because I'm trendy, I'm doing that nifty 1sentence thing for Hei. I think I cheated by using semicolons a lot, but technically it's still one sentence even if I do, okay. ):

Not completely done yet, but it soon will be--!

01. Ring - He was glad that he and Timon didn't have to do anything ridiculous like exchange rings or kiss; a simple handshake would be more than enough to seal the "marriage", Salome had said.

02. Hero - Hei had no intention of playing the hero, but he was more than willing to aid those that he considered comrades.

03. Memory - He couldn't help but wonder what Yin did with the memory of her past which she undoubtedly still carried, carefully stored away behind expressionless features.

04. Box
05. Run

06. Hurricane - As the wind picked up and the rain showered the island, he hoped the weather would clear up before he started wishing he was in Tokyo again, inside a sturdy building instead of a disturbingly exposed cave.

07. Wings

08. Cold - The ice maiden was literally very cold, and he thought it was ironic that such a reaction would be more fitting for a person like himself rather than her.

09. Red - Black, Silver, Yellow, Amber and Carmine; colors that became names that became images of faces he was all too familiar with.

10. Drink - There was only one punch bowl, and Hei was less than willing to let the small meerkat dip his paws in it before he had a chance to taste it himself.

11. Midnight - The stars were always more vibrant when the sky turned black, and midnight soon became his favorite hour of the night.

12. Temptation - This island, it had so much food just hanging from the trees waiting to be picked, yet he knew that he should be wary about anything the landmass had to offer.

13. View - The clear blue sky and shimmering ocean was definitely a change from the gray cityscape he was used to in Tokyo.

14. Music - The melody of soft ivory keys echoed throughout the island, perfect for the moonlit night.

16. Cover - He had to be more careful than usual while he conversed with November 11, unless he wanted his cover to be compromised.

17. Promise - "Promise me you'll stay away from him," he had asked, though he could clearly see how unsure she was of his request.

18. Dream - Most people would consider it a sad fact that Contractors didn't dream; these same people failed to realize that due to this, Contractors were also spared of their nightmares.

20. Talent - Although he never bragged, Hei knew he was particularly talented in cooking, so it was pretty embarrassing when his almost-lunch for the day blew up in his face.

21. Silence - He knew that July was a Doll, and therefore not inclined to long conversations, yet it wasn't just the silence between them that made him uncomfortable.

24. Strength - For some reason, the saying a wise falcon hides his talons kept repeating itself in his head whenever David called him weak or "lame".

25. Mask - The familiar white mask sometimes looked as if it were smiling and this, he thought to himself, was more than fitting for someone who always grinned while telling nearly perfect lies.

26. Ice - Seeing the man from MI6 once again, he couldn't help but remember regretful images of rain, ice, blood, and a dying smile.

29. Dance - He wasn't going to be much help helping Yukina learn how to dance, but he could help her come up with some funky dance moves, as silly as he looked trying.

30. Body - It was just a tad bit disturbing that Anemone constantly mentioned taking out his eyes to replace them with more interesting ones; besides, he didn't see why he needed a new pair, anyway.

32. Farewells - One of the things that bothered him about the island was that people disappeared just as randomly as they appeared; if he returned home one day, what if the island decided to leave her behind?

33. World - A world where black shinigamis are real and not just a fancy title for efficient murderers, he thought to himself while craning his neck to gaze up at Ryuk.

34. Formal - Hei didn't think that he'd ever see that waiter uniform again until, of course, he found himself involuntarily wearing it one morning.

36. Laugh - Laughter was something he had perfected, so much to the point that sometimes even he himself couldn't tell that it was fake.

37. Lies - Deceit was becoming a lifestyle for him on the island, even more so than at home, and often times he felt the need to detach himself from the rest of the world just so he could take a break from it all.

39. Overwhelmed

40. Whisper - "Nakama", Yin had said in a near whisper, and this one word was more than enough to leave him wondering how to reply.

41. Wait - The day he found himself in swim wear, he knew he only needed to wait before the island found itself bored with his bland reaction and returned him to normal.

42. Talk - Weighty conversation wasn't needed with her; the Doll knew how to read into his silence and knew it often spoke volumes more than words.

43. Search - No matter how hard he searched for it, that long black coat of his was missing, and he almost felt frustrated at himself for losing it so easily.

44. Hope

45. Eclipse - The lunar eclipse enveloped the island in darkness and Hei vaguely wondered if this was what it felt like to be blind.

46. Gravity - Okita's sword was so swift it was almost as if gravity had no ruling over his movements, Hei had vaguely observed, even as the tip of the blade sunk into his shoulder.

47. Highway - It wasn't as if he was in bad shape (quite the contrary, actually), but the island was so expansive that sometimes he wished there was a faster means of transportation available other than walking on foot.

48. Unknown

49. Lock - A coat, mask and knives-- three things he wished he could keep under lock and key, rather than in a simple duffel bag that could be unzipped on a whim.
